Syrbanism initaive organised a workshop on “informality, reconstruction and policies in Syria’’ in collaboration with IWlab at westminster university in London. The main finding of the discussion was that there is a need to understand that ‘informality’ is not value-less, or a complete negative. It is upon a closer look full of social value. By understanding this matter and appreciate it more, a better policy around reconstruction can be developed. Speakers are Edwar Hanna from Syrbanism and Wesam Asali from IWlab. The workshop was facilitated by Jackie Davies; a visiting lecturer at Westminster University.
